I'm thrilled to announce the addition of two new independent directors to Castiron's board: Emmanuelle Skala and Jessie Young. They both bring impressive backgrounds and relevant expertise to the table and will be invaluable as we continue to grow and evolve Castiron, the all-in-one business management solution for food entrepreneurs.
Emmanuelle Skala brings more than 20 years of experience in building and scaling high-performance teams at leading technology companies. Emmanuelle is currently the Senior Vice President of Strategic Operations, Hardware and Customer Success at Toast, where she helped grow the company from a startup to a billion-dollar unicorn. Emmanuelle's deep expertise in go-to-market strategies and her experience in scaling companies will be instrumental in helping guide Castiron's growth strategy and ensuring that we continue to provide exceptional value to our customers.
Jessie Young is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in new product development, strategy, and operations. She's currently the Global Lead, Strategic Operations New Verticals at Uber, where she oversees the company's global growth initiatives surrounding Grocery, Convenience, Alcohol, and Cannabis. Jessie's experience in scaling global initiatives will be essential in helping Castiron continue to innovate and deliver exceptional products to our customers.
Emmanuelle and Jessie join Michael Brown of Bowery Capital, Mike Fitzgerald of High Alpha, and me on the Board. We're honored to have their leadership and look forward to working closely with them to achieve our mission of empowering food business owners to achieve their dreams and find success.
